1968년 미국 필라델피아에서 결성되어 1960년 말과 1970년대 초를 (그리고 1960년대 말과 1970년대 초만) 풍미한 그룹 스타일리스틱스. 난 '줄서서 노래하는' 흑인 댄스 보컬 그룹이 너무 웃기고 재미있었는데, 바로 그런 그룹들 중 하나(댄스성이 좀 약하기는 하다), 처음엔 몰랐다가 나중에 보컬이 남성인 것을 알고 무척 놀랐던 기억(남지 비지스 배리 깁)이 난다, 하하! 여하튼 좋은 곡들은(좋은 곡들만) 정말 너무 좋은 그룹이다!

The Stylistics are a soul music vocal group, and were one of the best-known Philadelphia soul groups of the 1970s. They formed in 1968, and were composed of lead Russell Thompkins, Jr., Herbie Murrell, Airrion Love, James Smith, and James Dunn. All of their US hits were ballads, graced by the soaring falsetto of Russell Thompkins, Jr. and the lush productions of Thom Bell, which helped make the Stylistics one of the most successful soul groups of the first half of the 1970s."[1] During the early 1970s, the band had twelve consecutive U.S. R&B top ten hits, including "Stop, Look, Listen (To Your Heart)", "You Are Everything", "Betcha by Golly, Wow", "I'm Stone in Love with You", "Break Up to Make Up".
